Permanent Magnet Diesel Gensets
PM Generator Ltd manufactures high speed permanent magnet generators for domestic and international markets. These generators can be used for Diesel Generator Sets, Hybrid Electric Propulsion, Wind Energy and Hydroelectric purposes.
The conventional DG sets use traditional alternators which are much larger, heavier, noisier and up to 35% less efficient. The operating expenditures are much less with permanent magnet generators. These high rpm pm generators can be upto 30% more efficient than traditional alternators. The fuel savings in permanent magnet DG sets is a minimum of 15% with just the change in the alternator. On adding a battery back-up or hybrid system, the savings will increase. Permanent magnet alternators are the alternators of the future for diesel generators.
