- Small Size
- Versus a conventional PTO Alternator; the IP-PTO Generators will be close to half the size. This is because of our high grade permanent magnet rotor and proprietary cooling methods. A 30 kW unit can be less than 12 inches in length.
- Regulated Charging Voltage
- With our DC controlled algorithms, you will be able to pick a minimum and maximum charging voltage along with the rpm of the PTO.
- Mechanical Customizations
- Mount under the chassis and connect to a drive shaft from the PTO. Get it set to the right PTO RPM (Engine Speed × PTO% = PTO Shaft Speed)

PTO Generators
PTO (Power Take-off) generators produce electricity by using energy received from an engine. PTO generators connect directly to the drive shaft of an engine, which rotates the rotor of the generator and produces electricity according to the principle of electromagnetic induction. Being portable, they are widely used for applications that require electricity but are away from electric supply networks and thus rely on off-grid electricity production. Some examples of their application include usage for farm equipment, power backup, etc.
DC PTO generators for trucks
PTO generators can be powered by the truck’s engine, ensuring the reliability that comes with the truck’s engine. These generators are mounted on the chassis of the trucks. They are very neatly integrated with the truck, ensuring that most of the payload space remains usable. PTO generators for trucks have a range of applications, some of which include powering tools on-board trucks, concrete mixer trucks, etc.
PTO DC generators for tractors
PTO generators are very popular for the farm since they rely on tractors which are already being used on farms, to produce electricity. This removes the need for a separate engine to produce electricity as well as the need for a separate fuel tank. They are powered by the tractor’s engine and can easily be towed by tractors.
