9 Nm continuous at 1,200 RPM · 27 Nm peak · 145 frame

The 145-AZZS24-050 is a 1 kW 24 volt BLDC motor that delivers high torque at moderate speed. It holds 9 Nm continuously at 1,200 RPM on 50 Arms, and reaches 27 Nm at 150 Arms — three times continuous, from an 18 kg frame.

At 0.18 Nm per amp this winding sits between the slow, high-torque machines and the fast, light ones. It is the version of this motor to choose when the load needs both a useful turn of speed and enough torque to start under load without a reduction stage. Fifty amps continuous from a 24 volt supply is still modest for the output; the drive can be sized sensibly and the cable runs stay manageable, which matters on battery-powered equipment where every metre of heavy cable is weight and voltage drop.

It is the same machine as the 145-AZZS24-040 — same 0.001639 kg·m² rotor, same 18 kg frame, same eight-pole geometry — wound for more speed and more current. Where the 040 gives 9.5 Nm at 800 RPM on 40 amps, this one gives 9 Nm at 1,200 RPM on 50. Half again the speed for a quarter more current, at essentially the same torque. If the driven load is speed-limited rather than torque-limited, this is the better half of the pair. Torque holds flat from standstill to rated speed, so the machine behaves the same whether it is starting or running.

Quality and compliance

Manufactured at our ISO 9001:2015 certified plant in Faridabad, India. Designed and tested to IEC 60034 — performance and rating to IEC 60034-1, IP64 enclosure to IEC 60034-5, mounting designations to IEC 60034-7, and Class H insulation to IEC 60085.

Every motor is individually tested before dispatch, not batch-sampled: winding resistance, insulation resistance, high-voltage withstand, back-EMF constant, no-load and loaded run, and temperature rise. Test reports are available on request.

Where this motor is used

  • Direct-drive pumps and augers where a gearbox would otherwise be needed to reach torque
  • Conveyor, roller and feed drives running at steady mid-range speed
  • Traction and drive wheels on small electric utility and warehouse vehicles
  • Deck and hatch machinery on 24 V marine systems
