33.2 Nm continuous at 1,800 RPM · 94.2 Nm peak · 255 frame
The 255-FZS24-250 is a 6 kW 24 volt BLDC motor for mid-range work with substantial overload capacity. It holds 33.2 Nm continuously at 1,800 RPM on 250 Arms, and reaches 94.2 Nm at 750 Arms — nearly three times continuous, with a peak output of 17 kW.
It is the lower-current half of a winding pair. The 255-FZS24-500 produces the same 33.2 Nm but does it at 3,750 RPM on 500 Arms; this winding gives the identical torque at half the speed and half the current. That makes it the choice wherever the controller, the battery or the cable run sets the ceiling rather than the motor. Two hundred and fifty amps continuous on a 24 volt bus is a serious but manageable figure — properly sized cable and a controller rated for sustained current, rather than the busbar-and-inspection regime a 500 amp machine demands. At 31 kg it is roughly half the weight of the largest 255 windings, which matters on equipment where the motor has to be lifted into place or hung off a bracket.
The rotor inertia of 0.008113 kg·m² gives it useful steadiness without the sluggishness of the heaviest 255 rotors, so it will tolerate load that varies through the cycle while still responding to a speed command. Torque holds flat from standstill to rated speed across every current up to 500 Arms — only the peak curve begins to fall before 1,800 RPM, which is why the 17 kW peak arrives just below rated speed. Bearings are the sealed 6008-2RS1/C3 and 6006-2RS1/C3 rather than the shielded type used on some of the range, which suits dirtier environments. Naturally cooled, IP64, flange and foot mounting.
Quality and compliance
Manufactured at our ISO 9001:2015 certified plant in Faridabad, India. Designed and tested to IEC 60034 — performance and rating to IEC 60034-1, IP64 enclosure to IEC 60034-5, mounting designations to IEC 60034-7, and Class H insulation to IEC 60085.
Every motor is individually tested before dispatch, not batch-sampled: winding resistance, insulation resistance, high-voltage withstand, back-EMF constant, no-load and loaded run, and temperature rise. Test reports are available on request.
Performance Curves
Where this motor is used
- Hydraulic power packs on compact 24 V equipment, where the pump loads steadily but the relief cycle demands bursts
- Traction and drive axles on electric work vehicles and yard equipment
- Deck machinery, winches and thrusters on 24 V marine systems
- Conveyor, crusher and feed drives that meet intermittent hard loads
