Both PTO/belt-driven and engine-mounted variants share the same brushless PM architecture and external regulation platform.
48V PTO Alternator (Belt/Pulley-Driven)
Mounts via pulley and belt to an existing engine drive system. Available from 2 kW to 60 kW. A 30 kW unit measures under 12 inches in length — roughly half the size of a conventional PTO alternator.

Innotec’s 48V alternator range covers outputs from 50 amps to 700 amps, power levels from 5 kW to 60 kW, and RPM operating ranges of 800–3,000 RPM for engine-mounted units. Belt-driven PTO units are available from 2 kW to 60 kW. All units are rated for continuous duty operation up to 65°C.
How a Permanent Magnet 48V Alternator Works
Unlike wound-field alternators that require a powered field winding and brushes, a PM alternator uses permanent magnets in the rotor — eliminating brush-to-slip-ring contact entirely. This is what enables the brushless operation and 90%+ efficiency Innotec machines achieve.
