The 255-DZS72-080 is a 6 kW 72 volt BLDC motor that trades some speed for a third more torque than the equivalent CZS winding. It holds 21.3 Nm continuously at 2,800 RPM on 80 Arms, and reaches 60.7 Nm at 240 Arms — close to three times continuous, from a 24 kg frame.

At 0.266 Nm per amp this sits in the middle of the 255 range: enough torque to start a loaded conveyor or a positive-displacement pump without a reduction stage, but still turning fast enough that the driven equipment does not need a step-up. Eighty amps continuous keeps the electrical side modest — ordinary cable, a mid-range controller — which is the main reason to specify a 72 volt machine at this output rather than a lower-voltage one.

Rotor inertia is 0.005409 kg·m², light enough to accelerate briskly but with more stored energy than the CZS windings, so the machine rides through a momentary jam rather than stalling. That suits loads which vary through the cycle and occasionally meet resistance. Torque holds flat from standstill to rated speed at every current up to 160 Arms; only the peak curve begins to fall before 2,800 RPM, which is why the 16.5 kW peak arrives just below rated speed. Bearings are 6207-2Z/C3 at both ends, and the machine is naturally cooled with forced air optional.

It shares its rotor and its 24 kg frame with the 255-DZS72-100, which is the same machine wound for 3,300 RPM on 100 amps. If the load is speed-limited rather than torque-limited, that is the better half of the pair; if the controller or the battery sets the ceiling, this one is.

Manufactured at our ISO 9001:2015 certified plant in Faridabad, India. Designed and tested to IEC 60034 — performance and rating to IEC 60034-1, IP64 enclosure to IEC 60034-5, mounting designations to IEC 60034-7, and Class H insulation to IEC 60085.

Every motor is individually tested before dispatch, not batch-sampled: winding resistance, insulation resistance, high-voltage withstand, back-EMF constant, no-load and loaded run, and temperature rise. Test reports are available on request.
